Hebrew Wikipedia describes him as an internal medicine physician with a master's degree in health systems management who previously directed a hospital in the Assuta network, served as deputy director of Meir Medical Center and was chief medical officer of the Israeli Air Force. The hospital's own website could not be reached to confirm who currently heads the Davidoff Cancer Center itself, so this record points at the director of the parent hospital.","asOf":"2026-09-10","links":[{"label":"Source: Hebrew Wikipedia article on Erez Barenboim","url":"https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/ארז_ברנבוים"},{"label":"Source: Hebrew Wikipedia article on Rabin Medical Center (director field)","url":"https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/מרכז_רפואי_רבין"}],"tags":["leadership","hospital-management"],"related":[],"cancers":[],"sections":[],"technologies":[],"targets":[],"drugs":[],"companies":[],"institutions":["rabin-davidoff-center"],"pathways":[],"terms":[],"trials":[],"people":[],"bottlenecks":[],"keyPapers":[],"journals":[],"dependsOn":[],"notes":[],"role":"Director of Rabin Medical Center, the Clalit hospital that houses the Davidoff Cancer Center","institutionId":"rabin-davidoff-center","specialisms":["Internal medicine","Hospital management","Health systems management"],"profiles":[{"label":"Wikipedia (Hebrew)","url":"https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/ארז_ברנבוים"}],"papers":[{"title":"Brief posturographic test as an indicator of fatigue","journal":"Psychiatry Clin Neurosci","year":2006,"url":"https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1440-1819.2006.01511.x","doi":"10.1111/j.1440-1819.2006.01511.x","note":"Europe PMC author record matched by affiliation"}]},"route":"/people/erez-barenboim/","neighbours":{"institution":[{"id":"rabin-davidoff-center","kind":"institution","name":"Davidoff Cancer Center, Rabin Medical Center","route":"/institutions/rabin-davidoff-center/"}]}}
