## TL;DR

Sandoz, spun out of Novartis in 2023, is the world's largest generics and biosimilars company; in oncology it sells biosimilar filgrastim (Zarxio), pegfilgrastim (Ziextenzo) and rituximab, and holds the US application for nelarabine (Arranon).

## Summary

Sandoz, based in Basel and listed as SDZ.SW, was spun out of Novartis in 2023 and is the world's largest generics and biosimilars company; in oncology it sells biosimilar filgrastim as Zarxio, pegfilgrastim as Ziextenzo and rituximab, and holds the US application for nelarabine, sold as Arranon. It launched the first US biosimilar, Zarxio or filgrastim-sndz, in 2015, markets biosimilars of pegfilgrastim, rituximab, trastuzumab and denosumab in Europe and the United States, and carries a broad line of generic oncology injectables. OnCo links it to filgrastim, pegfilgrastim and nelarabine. Whether biosimilar competition lowers the cost of supportive care and antibody therapy as much as small-molecule generics did is the open question its portfolio tests. Each product has its own page.
