## Summary

Myricx Bio (trading name of Myricx Pharma Limited, London, with a US office in Boston) developed a new class of antibody-drug conjugate payloads based on inhibitors of N-myristoyltransferase (NMT), an enzyme required for the function of proteins that cancer cells depend on. NMTi payloads are intended to overcome resistance to established payload classes such as topoisomerase 1 inhibitors, and preclinical data showed activity across solid tumour models including TOPO-1 resistant ones. The company's two lead ADC assets are directed at B7-H3 and HER2 and were preclinical at the time of the deal. Novartis agreed on 6 July 2026 to acquire Myricx for USD 1.1 billion upfront plus up to USD 400 million in milestones; the company's website states it became an indirect wholly owned Novartis subsidiary on 28 August 2026.
