## Summary

Max Healthcare opened its first centre in Panchsheel Park, Delhi, in 2000 and in June 2025 operated 22 hospitals with more than 5,000 beds, mainly in north India; it is listed on the BSE and NSE and is a NIFTY 50 constituent. A standalone Max Cancer Centre was commissioned in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, in 2016, and the group's oncology programme (marketed as the Max Institute of Cancer Care) spans surgical, medical, radiation and haemato-oncology, bone marrow transplant, robotic surgery and precision oncology across its network. Max is a frequent site for international registration trials in India.
