## Summary

Shun Lu is Professor and Director of the Shanghai Lung Cancer Center at Shanghai Chest Hospital and a leader of the Chinese Thoracic Oncology Group. He has been principal investigator for many Chinese phase 3 trials, including sintilimab and tislelizumab combinations in non-small-cell lung cancer and studies of furmonertinib and other EGFR inhibitors. His publications include the AENEAS trial of aumolertinib against gefitinib as first-line therapy for EGFR-mutated lung cancer, the trial of osimertinib after chemoradiotherapy in stage III EGFR-mutated disease, and the LUX-Lung 7 comparison of afatinib and gefitinib. His interests are immunotherapy, EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors and clinical trials. He has also co-authored global registrational trials of targeted therapy and immunotherapy, including ADAURA, CheckMate 816 and MARIPOSA, and his work has shaped EGFR- and ALK-directed treatment in East Asian populations.
